The Main Grandstand at the Royal Hobart Showground offers a choice of function rooms. Whether your function is for 20 or 1000 we have a room to suit your needs. There is a full commercial kitchen, you can choose to self cater, bring in your own caterer or we can put you in touch with our preferred catering company. The facilities are licensed 24hrs a day and offer some of the best views of the Derwent River, Mount Wellington and the night lights are fantastic.
The Upper Level Main Grandstand is suitable for groups of 40 to 400. We can customise the area to meet any of your seating or layout requirements. Our friendly staff can advise or aid you in your plans. Or if you wish you can leave the coordination up to us. We can source everything from table centres to live music.
Got a function involving 400 plus guests? Then this is the place for you. A highly functional area, the Grandstand Hall allows us to offer a wide range of seating arrangements to meet your every requirement.
