RSPCA “flagship” returns to Tasmania
RSPCA Queensland’s Educational Mobile Unit ‘EMU’ is delighted to be returning to The 2008 Royal Hobart Show.
EMU is a 13 tonne state of the art classroom on wheels, longer than 7 small cars and designed to educate and excite both the young and the young at heart.
Visitors who “get on board” use the latest in computer and audio-visual technology to learn about humane values and animal care in a fun-filled and challenging way.
The EMU is a vital part of the RSPCA’s Humane Education Strategy, It is important we reach as many children as possible with messages about animal welfare, and how we can show kindness to all living things. A visit can not only teach children to care and respect all creatures great and small, but also help to shape compassionate and humane citizens of the future.
